This excoriating piece expressed the movement’s fury with the Labour government that has, finally, started to make some of the right noises and yet continues to arm Israel, to send RAF surveillance flights over Gaza from Akrotiri, Cyprus and, despite ostensibly suspending talks on trade negotiations, Labour Lord Austin was in Israel.
The UK government has been, and continues to be complicit in this genocide. It is up to us to hold them accountable. Israel’s actions are widely recognised as deplorable, intolerable and more even by this government and yet what action do we see. Local MPs tell us that the UK is using every diplomatic lever and yet the Israeli Ambassador is still here and arrests are made of those protesting her presence for what she represents.
We say to the government – again – you are NOT powerless. Do something!

The Labour government’s suspension of trade talks with Israel is too little too late. Keir Starmer and David Lammy should be in the Hague.

Now we can understand why Hitler had time to massacre 6 million people, because many, like Starmer, said they were against it but did nothing to stop it until after it happened.
The Labour Party has long had blood on its hands, way before Starmer – for example, Blair is responsible for the murder of about 1 million Iraqis. But sure, apparently it’s just Sir Keir that’s the problem.
Hassan: not only Starmer but also. He is current PM and could change history rather than comment upon it. He has learned nowt from history.
