Winter in Gaza: flooded tents, how much more can people take?

Winter is coming that will bring floods and greater hardships especially to those forced to live in tents in a narrow strip of land within the Gaza Strip. Already there have been examples of sea water coming into tents and people are desperate to find a non existent patch of land to pitch their tents. The picture above is from a UN Report from December 2023 but since then Khan Yunis has been largely reduced to rubble. In the original report (linked at the end of the intro) are pictures of the current situation. The UN referred to the situation for Palestinians in Gaza as “desperate” in December. How much more desperate is it nine months later?
“The Gaza Strip is on the edge of a real humanitarian disaster with the coming of winter. Almost 2 million people will be homeless as a direct result. The displaced will sleep on the ground and remain exposed to the elements.”
The need for a ceasefire is more urgent than ever and evidence points to Israel being the block. We can must continue to keep up the pressure on our politicians to stop sending arms to Israel and to support the Palestinian people.

Time for the Book of Lamentations but not just for Jews: O Israel what have you done?
Bitterly she weeps in the night,
Her cheek wet with tears.
There is none to comfort her
Of all her friends.
All her allies have betrayed her;
They have become her foes.
Yet Israel/the IDFcurrently seems to argue their actions v hezbollah and its consequences are justified by the need to get 60.000 famlies displaced from their homes in N Gaza back in to their homes.
Who will come to the aid of Palestinians? Why have Western leaders turned their backs?
