Israelis cannot claim ignorance about war crimes in Gaza

Perry and Rubinstein are clear; if Israelis claim not to know about their army’s crimes in Gaza it is deliberate and culpable complicity in the abuses.

Even when Israeli media cooperate with the Government in trying to hide the truth, people are only misled if they wish to be: the evidence is all around.

Day by day the second Nakba is being enacted in Gaza. The third Nakba in East Jerusalem and the West Bank is getting closer every day.

We envision the gorilla effect. The gorilla stands before us, waving its arms urgently trying to draw our attention. However, delusions and indulgence in the pleasures of life blind us to its presence. But the gorilla is not going anywhere and it threatens to stain Jewish history forever.
