Israel is waking up to the threat of prosecutions initiated by the Hind Rajab Foundation
JVL Introduction
In this piece first published by LabourHub, Linda Whittern describes how “Israel’s failure to thoroughly, fairly and promptly investigate and punish whatever war crimes its armed forces and government commit lays the groundwork for the continuing growth and successes of the Hind Rajab Foundation.”
The foundation, named in honour of the little girl killed by Israeli forces in Gaza a year ago, was created to pursue legal action against those responsible for such atrocities. Its aim is to end Israeli impunity, “achieving justice, and ensuring that the legacy of those lost is honored and no life is forgotten.”

HRF sounds promising.
Thank you for this informative article. Excellent work.
I strongly support and applaud this way of proceeding. It is individuals who pull the trigger and release the missiles and bombs. They need to be aware that they can be held accountable for their actions. If some of them try to use the Nuremberg defence that they were, ‘Only obeying orders’, that becomes another link in the chain which ultimately will lead right to the top of Israeli society. ‘Never again’, has to mean just that.
I learned about the good work of the Hind Rajab Foundation through Nicola’s local CAMPAIN zoom meetings. I have contributed to the HRF.
