We must never stop monitoring Israel’s war crimes

JVL Introduction

Here, laid bare are many of the atrocities committed by Israel on the people of Gaza.  There is also an embedded video on the destrcution of Jabaliya Camp and a catalogue of the condemnation and clear designation of Israel’s actions as war crimes and genocide for which there is considerable consensus and yet the plentiful evidence – despite Israel’s refusal to allow foreign journalists into Gaza – it fails to stop.

That it continues is “…not in the descriptions of what is happening in Gaza (but)…is of the rotten substructure of the world within which this language is meant to function…By refusing even to accept the designations of genocide and ethnic cleansing, let alone act upon them, Israel’s allies force an adaptation on to the world after which it simply becomes accepted that rights are not bestowed by humanity, but by the parties who decide who is human.

We are in desperate times but we cannot afford the luxury of despair and if we can do nothing else, then we must continue to record and share the information about what is happening.  We cannot collude with the dehumanisation of Palestinians or allow these atrocities to become normalised.

A consensus is emerging: Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Where is the action?

It may feel hopeless to see supportive states continue to back Israel, but bearing witness matters for future reckon

  • By the widespread support given by the people of Israel to the Govt. of Netanyahhu et al. in its war crimes they have destroyed any possibility of their state continuing to exist! Likewise those “Western democracies” that have provided facilitation of such outrageous behaviour have shown themselves unworthy of respect, recognition or support. I am ashamed to be British.

  • Is anybody else lobbying MPs and demanding that ZionNazi (without qualification), Starmer answers for his support of Crimes Against Humanity?

  • wow is the Guardian allowing Nesrine to say this. Is Freedland and Editors suddenly realising what they have done to the Guardian .?? I doubt it but at least it is sinking into MSM that what is happening in Gaza /Palestine is not about self defence. It never was.

  • We will continue to support the people of Palestine. Each in our small ways add up to a larger whole. We can demonstrate, write to our MPs, write articles, donate to a Palestinian cause, anything, any small thing which can make a difference. Justice is not kept alive by indifference. We will rail against those who govern us – and abuse that governance by their tacit support for this horror. I hope one day this will end and all those responsible will be brought to justice; I hope our government faces the same justice. Thank You.
