Racism in action; responding to attacks ON Israel and attacks BY Israel

After a year of the horrific bombardment of the people and places in Gaza, many of us, like Owen Jones are asking: what is it going to take for our western leaders to respond appropriately and fairly? We have already reported on the difference in how Russia’s attacks on Ukraine are reported compared with Israel’s on Gaza and now we can add the way in which the attacks by Hezbollah and by Iran (and the Houthis) are reported; for Starmer, for Biden and for so many others, along with most of our mainstream media, they are the aggressors and “we stand with Israel”. We do not have to support the government of Iran, or Hezbollah or Hamas to see the different treatment and the racism that is revealed, nor to want those who live there to be safe; indeed, we are obviously highly critical of the regime in Israel and still want the residents there to be safe as well.
The overwhelming majority of people in the UK, as throughout the world, do not share the Western governments’ view, so we ask again: what is it going to take, and does the UK government care about the dangers to us all by its actions and its racism?

Looking at the situation at 03:45, we have obviously reached the most significant inflection point in geo-politics since 11 November 1918.
I automatically assumed that intensive war planning was taking place over the last few months in Iran and with it’s allies and friends, and it seems that the planned activities have been brought forward because of Israel’s stupidity in murdering a foreign leader (which is the ultimate Russia and Chinese no-no and they regard it as the most serious war crime of all).
Russia is obviously helping Iran with intel and has been shooting down missiles aimed at Lebanon. The end of Ukraine may speed up to clear the way for an active alliance between Russia, China and Iran (and possibly North Korea) because China sees Israel’s activities as a threat to it’s oil supplies from the Gulf.
This was written in the stars from the moment it became obvious that there was a Zionist-UK-US alliance to commit genocide in Gaza. Trump has made a very stupid statement about hitting Iran’s nuclear facilities (another Chinese-Russian no-no), but Trump is, at heart, a realist and enjoys the pressure it will place on the Biden-Harris zombie regime. Unfortunately, the British Uniparty’s pro-Zionist hawks have been favoured neither by the gift of realism nor anything remotely resembling political intelligence and its corollary, diplomatic wisdom.
At some point, given that Israelis measure military success in terms of the numbers of civilians murdered, whereas Iran, Hezbollah and Russia consider the destruction of military capability as the real measure, I have no doubt that sooner rather than later Israeli civilians will be targeted en masse in the settlements and cities to help clarify the minds of the even the most fervent land grabbing Zionists that they are on a losing wicket and the creation of Israel on another people’s land…

If only Israel was as self-aware as Macbeth. But it continues to slaughter, not because it has gone too far down the path of violence to turn back but because the lust for revenge – and just as important, land – is not yet satisfied. The vision of a greater Israel continues to allure. And then there is another prize to secure in the shape of Gaza’s offshore gas field.
Israel is like Tolkien’s dragon Smaug, squatting over a heap of gold, jealously guarding it from those it rightfully belongs to – hitting out at them with escalating bouts of violence. It will not voluntarily surrender even a crumb of what it has won, and the US will follow it all the way to the gates of Hell, providing it with guns and cash and tactical support and ultimately manpower. I greatly fear this is becoming a fight to the death.
