The “most moral army in the world” violates morality with impunity
JVL Introduction
Janan Abdu in +972 magazine [“where Palestinian and Israeli journalists, activists, and thinkers can report on and analyze what is happening”] provides a heart-wrenching account of the mistreatment of Palestinian prisoners in Israel’s Sde Teiman army base.
It is described as a never-ending series of torture, humiliations, and watching friends die. As one former detainee put it, it was “a journey to hell and back.”
In the words of the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI) “it is clear beyond any doubt that these are acts whose perpetrators’ concern is not investigation and accountability, but cruelty and vindictiveness for its own sake.”
Physicians for Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) is clear that the practices encountered amount to torture.
Itamar Ben-Gvir as national security minister, oversees Israeli prisons. After October 78 he encouraged the Israeli Prison Service to treat those in detention harshly.
As Abdu reports, they obliged, adding that the only thing separating Sde Teiman from Guantanamo or Abu Ghraib is physical distance.

Biden, Sunak, Starmer et al all complicit in this Zionist horror.
STOP arming the pariah state of Israel, forever.
Silly old Joe Biden is fuming outrage that the Government of Israel may face criminal charges before an international court. Yet the truth is here. I have previously read similar accounts of humiliation, brutality, cruelty, torture and unexplained but consequent deaths within Israeli prisons. Wise up, Joe.
This is Abu Ghraib all over again – we need to make sure that Sdei Teiman becomes equally notorious all over the world.
