Starvation is rife: and the bombs still fall

This is the transcript of a harrowing report that Fergal Keane made for the BBC. There is no hiding the reality. People in Gaza are being starved by Israel. Today (May 26th 25) we learn that the director of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), resigned just as the group was about to begin the US and Israel approved aid delivery, although other aid organisations had distanced themselves from the controversial plan. While he said he was proud of the work done, he resigned because “…it is clear that it is not possible to implement this plan while also strictly adhering to humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence, which I will not abandon.” (Cited by Middle East Eye Middle East Eye here

Meanwhile, essential as it is that the aid needed gets in to all the people in Gaza, it is vital that the bombing stops as well.
