This is a chilling article with IDF soldiers clearly saying things such as: “It’s a killing field,” one soldier said. “Where I was stationed, between one and five people were killed every day. They’re treated like a hostile force – no crowd-control measures, no tear gas – just live fire with everything imaginable: heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars. Then, once the center opens, the shooting stops, and they know they can approach. Our form of communication is gunfire.” (my emph Ed)
It is important to remember that there are a maximum of four aid distribution sites being (mis)managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation but previously there were four hundred being run by the agencies such as UNWRA across the Gaza Strip. Almost as an aside there is also reference to people being shot while contractors are being well paid to demolish (more) houses in Gaza.

Why give the last word to an IDF spokesperson? We know their track record of lying.
When is the British press going to publish stuff like this?
It’s good that some individuals in the IDF are still able to distinguish between right and wrong and can SEE the unmitigated evil of their state’s and army’s conduct in Gaza.
We all need to carry on doing the best we can to safeguard the Palestinians still surviving and help them win the free, independent State of Palestine on the 1967 borders. That said, what seems equally urgent is to set up NOW a massive programme to bring to justice all those who’ve ordered and carried out war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem and in detention centres within Israel. There could be thousands, even tens of thousands of offenders to investigate and prosecute.
Given the potentially huge numbers of defendants, the only practical way of obtaining sufficient funding, police, lawyers, courts and prison places will be for many different nations across the world to share in the tasks now attempted by the ICC, ICJ and occasional special tribunals.
The Hague Group of nations might well spearhead this project (it would fit neatly into its mission). The Hague Group hopes to grow considerably in membership and reach from early July onwards. Might nations like our own be SHAMED into contributing their help?
