We cannot be silent as Israel ethnically cleanses Gaza

Ethnic cleansing is well underway in Gaza; ongoing killing by Israel, the 4 dystopian feeding points under Israel’s control where there were 400 (!) before.  This is not accidental but is in the design: Netanyahu has told the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Knesset that: “We’re destroying more and more homes — they have nowhere to return to. The only natural outcome will be that Gazans will want to emigrate out of the Strip. Our main problem is with receiving countries.”

People have been moved completely out of the border areas even while, for  now, more than expected are staying in the north despite the closest food access point being in the centre of the Strip.

Israel has planned three “concentration areas” for the people of Gaza as shown in this map published by Ha’arezta that shows that, “(a)ccording to rough estimates, the Gaza block covers around 50 square kilometers, the central camps block about 85, and the Al-Mawasi coastal strip just eight.

While these have been officially described as “concentration areas,” “their limited size, the prohibition on exiting them, and the near-total absence of infrastructure or means of survival, makes it possible to confidently refer to them as concentration camps.”

Speaking out against this is essential; our governments must stop their complicity and it is our job to continue to try to make that happen.
