It is impossible to imagine how unbearable it is to be in Gaza now; where there are no safe spaces; where a UN base for rolling out the desperately needed polio vaccine was ordered to move, and even when it seems the whole world is finally calling for a ceasefire that it does not happen. Israel’s conditions for agreeing to a temporary ceasefire include remaining inside Gaza. This is not a genuine commitment towards ending the bloodshed. The US (among other States) say they want a ceasefire but continue to arm Israel so who is really stopping the progress?
Meanwhile Palestinians trying to survive under the bombardments have their hopes dashed again and again. “People in Gaza are victims of massacres. But they also have fallen prey to a hope that is being weaponized against them. In the shadows of negotiations, Israel unleashes its most brutal massacres. Over ten months of genocide, I recall countless moments when my family and I clung to hope, only for it to be shattered by yet another massacre. Again and again, hope betrayed me and everyone I know.”

Our lives seem to be controlled by criminal psychopaths.
They are! And psychopaths are inherently sadistic. And the more powerful they are, the more sadistic they can be. And in BN and his fascist buddies case they are not content to just slaughter and maim people en mass, but also to play with their emotions.
These people are evil beyond most people’s comprehension….. And they know it. And it’s child’s play to them to dupe and deceive and gaslight and manipulate the masses, as they do all the time.
