Limits to political participation in Greater Israel
JVL Introduction
Israel’s premier human-rights organisation, B’Tselem, writes:
In January 2021, [we] published a position paper analyzing how the entire area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea is ruled by a single regime centered on one goal: advancing and cementing Jewish supremacy through laws, practices, and organized violence. The paper detailed key features that render this an apartheid regime.
Ahead of the upcoming elections, we are issuing a new position paper focusing on one of these aspects: the right to political participation, and the way in which the regime organizes or denies this from different parts of the population under its control.
The paper, reproduced below, also covers the limitation on the rights of those 1.7m Palestinians who are “full citizens” of the state of Israel.

Not a "vibrant democracy". This is apartheid.

This is vile, of course, and not well enough known about. I hope that I am not trivialising the matter by observing that our Labour Party and Israel-favouring Starmer control elections here by arbitrarily deciding on the participation.
