No more. Fundamentalist, ethno-nationalist Zionism is as hostile to women as it is to secular Jews (Palestinians are of curse beneath consideration).
The clash over reform of the Supreme Court, legislation of which has now finally been adopted by the Knesset, is in fact merely the tip of iceberg.

And also we should surely mention Israel’s long standing ban on Civil Marriage ? Something that puts marriage in the hands of an all male clergy and forces mixed couples and “the wrong kind of Jews” into the indignity and expense of getting married in Cyprus?
I wonder what Golda Meir would say?
