War first, then annexation: is Israel preparing to permanently occupy Gaza?
JVL Introduction
In a week of massive protest calling on the Israeli government to go and for new elections, and of heightened tension in Israel-US relations, Dahlia Scheindlin, writing in Haaretz, takes a sober look at the possibilities for real change.
She is not optimistic.
The ultra-orthodox parties, though facing the threat of conscription, are not yet prepared to abandon their privileged position within the government; international pressure is “more bark than bite”.
Meanwhile, despite (or even because of) the apparent crisis the government is rapidly consolidating executive power and dismantling democratic institutions as Scheindlin outlines.
The resettlement of Gaza, says Sheindlin, though it may sound wild and barely a twinkle in anyone’s eye before 7th October, is now the declared intention of many government members.
Equally wild in 1967 would have been the idea of 700,000 settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, or the annexation of East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights…
Scheindlin asks: “Can anything stop the mad dance, or cause a change of course?” and answers her own question: “Only the unprecedented or the unknown.”
In the meantime all bets are off.

War first, then annexation: is Israel preparing to permanently occupy Gaza?
While expectations rise that surging protests could bring down the Netanyahu government, the Bible-infused nationalists in power are consolidating plans to resettle Gaza, following a well-worn Israeli playbook. Who, or what, can stop them?

I don’t have to read the article! Zionists in Israel want “their land back” and Christian Zionists and Evangelicals around the world, but especially in Christian Zionist Joe Biden’s America, also want them to “have the land back”. This will fulfil a prophesied condition for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. See End-of-Times Theology.
From the very beginning and against all the apparent odds, I foretold (through JVL and other media outlets) that 7/10 would be used by Netanyahu c.s. as the perfect pretext for Nakba 3.0., and that Netanyahu, in the end most probably would be applauded by most of the Zionists in and beyond their settler based colony in Palestine.
Hence, the present (relatively small) protest by “Israelis” against the extreme-right Netanyahu government, is not because those protestors might not be in line with this projected outcome, but they are against the cynical application of the Hannibal doctrine, that makes the IDF into a killing machine of their Hamas-hijacked loved one’s, which are being sacrificed for “the greater objective” of the foundation of a mono-ethnic Jewish / Jew supremacist autocracy in Eretz-Israel.
Not only did I foretell the developments that we are witnessing at present, but I also from the very beginning, did suggest, that the Netanyahu government had been fully aware of the preparations of what Hamas had called the operation Jericho Walls and had decided, that they would fully allow the operation to happen, without even symbolically trying to scupper the attack : After all, given the sophisticated spying capability of the IDF, it was impossible not to have known the Hamas-operation.
Only through this Hamas operation the ultra-Zionists would be able to purge the last remaining few millions of indigenous Palestinians over the border with Egypt and Jordan.
This objective needed a number of initiating steps a. annihilating the entire living structure of the Gazan Ghetto and b. starving the Palestinians by refusing all aid from entering. So by engineering a humanitarian disaster, the world could be blackmailed into forcing corridors through the Egyptian and Jordanian borders to have the suffering Palestinians purged out for good from their homeland Palestine.
