Look at Ukraine. Civilians “run away” from armed conflict that’s a completely normal thing to do. It doesn’t actually matter whether 750,000 Palestinians “ran away” in 1948 or if they were forced out. Nobody disputes that 750,000 Palestinians left in 1948.
Nobody disputes that they wanted to return and nobody disputes that Israel prevented their Right of Return. That is the proof positive that they were Ethnically Cleansed. Why they left in 1948 is irrelevant and a distraction.
We should focus instead on the Palestinian Right of Return and why Israel denies it.
