Horror on horror! Palestinian doctor(s) tortured and died
JVL Introduction
This is essential but truly horrible reading; Al Jazeera put this heading on their important article: Warning: This article includes descriptions or mentions of sexual violence that some readers may find disturbing. Nonetheless, we urge you to read it and to watch the short embedded videos, the screenshot above is from one of these. (The two Al Jazeera videos can only be seen via the original article, the video at the end can also be accessed below). We have posted previously about torture and rape of Palestinian detainees and the objection by some Israelis to the detention of those accused. “Writing to Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu afterwards, Ben-Gvir decried the soldiers’ arrest for rape and torture as “shameful”, saying of conditions in his prison system: “The summer camps and patience for the terrorists are over.””
Ben-Gvir is not an outsider, he is the Minister for Security for the Israeli State and yet in the UK, USA there is still talk of Israel being a democracy, for example, the British Prime Minister’s response to the ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant was: “This government has been clear that Israel has a right to defend itself, in accordance with international law. There is no moral equivalence between Israel, a democracy, and Hamas and Lebanese Hizballah, which are terrorist organisations. We remain focused on pushing for an immediate ceasefire, to bring an end to the devastating violence in Gaza. This is essential to protect civilians, ensure the release of hostages and to increase humanitarian aid into Gaza.” There was, of course, no mention made of the thousands of Palestinian hostages (detained without charge or trial) or of the reality of torture and the fact that at least 53 had died by July 2024., nor any mention of the many war crimes that have been openly committed.

Dying in ‘Hell’: The fate of Palestinian medics jailed by Israel
One of Gaza’s most prominent doctors may have been raped to death, recent revelations show. He’s not the only one.

So far comparatively few alleged offenders face justice for the crimes against humanity they have apparently committed against the Palestinians, the Lebanese and (some) Israelis. The world’s justice system isn’t working.
To date, ONLY Netanyahu and Gallant have ICC arrest warrants outstanding against them. ONLY one IDF soldier’s on trial for what are war crimes (in Morocco). The Dutch and Belgian courts are STILL considering cases for the prosecution of up to 1,000 IDF soldiers in one instance and (I think) a dozen in another. Nobody from the Israeli Prison Service (and related detention services) has yet been convicted of the mistreatment, torture and unlawful killing of detainees in spite of credible evidence that such crimes are commonplace.
What is incredible to me is how dreadfully under-resourced and vulnerable to unlawful pressures the International Criminal Court is. There should be a large team of senior prosecutors each independently able to “surge” ICC investigations and prosecutions wherever they’re needed. At present, it seems that a lone individual (currently Karim Khan) has to carry all of that burden himself. That set-up means almost all mass murderers will escape justice.
As Albanese has pointed out, UN member states should be sharing in the work of prosecuting offences against international law. Could we all try to encourage and fund concerned groups (eg Human Rights Watch) and states (eg South Africa and Ireland) to make it increasingly likely that offences against international law won’t go unpunished?
The inhumanity and cruelty detailed here tells us all we need to know about the nature of the apartheid State of Israel.
We must carry on marching for Palestine and using all peaceful means at our disposal to expose Israel’s genocide.
It would be great to think that Labour MPs had the courage to be marching with us.
Instead – They prefer to close their eyes – and to leave their humanity outside the House of Commons.
It’s beyond belief that a so called democracy is encouraged to continue such brutality in full view with no western leaders feeling the slightest pain and remorse despite having families of their own that they would be catatonically appalled if such atrocities happened to them.
any comment would be superfluous
More horror by the terrorist state of Israel, as supported by Sir Keir Starmer.
And as before, racist Israel is a democracy like Apartheid South Africa was.
Note that ONCE AGAIN MSM ignored THIS.. as they have EVERY other proven atrocity committed by Israel.. but STILL repeat the NOW PROVEN TO BE LIES atrocities supposedly perpetrated by Hamas.. without REAL Journalists & Entities like JVL broadcasting the TRUTH , we’d all still be in the Dark …The Fact Israel has admitted some of its atrocities still hasn’t stopped MSM from allowing denials from Zionist interviewees while no such allowance is made for Pro Palestine interviewees who want to point out the TRUTH…& not just do a whitewash job..
Never forgive. Never forget. Israel takes the meaning of the word “depravity” to a higher level. What a sick society, and even more so, what sick Western “leaders” have the bare-faced shame to back this terrorism against innocent Palestinians, simply for being Palestinians. Shame on them! They should all receive an ICC arrest warrant for the criminals they all are.
Why is Israel allowed to kill and use torture to Palestinians? For 76 years or longer, they have occupied their country and the UK and US have aided Israel in order to get what they want in the middle east. I don’t want my kids to repeat this corrupt past.
All Governments need to stand up and stop this violence and take the abusers out of powerful positions immediately
