There is nothing new in the general picture painted but it provides a useful brief overview.
The author takes in recent developments under the new goverment: the bizarre politics that led to a failure to muster the votes to renew the law preventing Palestinian family reunification – but it will nonetheless find a way; as well as the decision to evacuate the illegal Evyatar settlement – but in such a way that it will probably be restored in the near future!
“This is a regime,” he concludes “which lends fodder to some of the worst charges laid against Israel in recent years, including apartheid. Israel should step back from this moral catastrophe.”
