Two former Israeli ambassadors to South Africa speak out

JVL Introduction

Where did Ariel Sharon receive his inspiration for the settlement project?

Two former ambassadors to South Africa, Ilan Baruch and Alon Liel, have no doubt that it came during his early 1980s visit there, during which he expressed great interest in South Africa’s Bantustan project.

As we enter the 55th year since the occupation who now believes it is temporary?

Certainly not these two ex-ambassadors who have no doubt that Israel is the sole sovereign authority in the occupied territories where it systematically discriminates on the basis of nationality and ethnicity.

That, they say, -“as we saw ourselves (in South Africa)” – is apartheid.
