Israel avoids the jurisdiction of international courts by saying it investigates itself.
So it does in a travesty of justice.
As Yesh Din has established the vast majority of complaints concerning soldiers harming Palestinians are dismissed, most investigations are closed, and, in the rare cases in which soldiers are prosecuted, they receive lenient sentences.
That’s why no-one has been punished, nor is likely to be punished, for the standout execution of the year, that of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
Impunity rules.

Israel makes a pretense of acting justly and humanely whilst doing the precise opposite. When Israel was created by brutal military action it pledged to abide by humanitarian law and offered a dazzling prospectus of human rights pledges that would have elevated it to be amongst the world leaders in human rights. It was a sham to help persuade the United Nations that it was worthy of recognition. It won its recognition but only on condition that refugees were allowed to return. The world has awaited the implementation of its pledges and commitments ever since as Israel has shamelessly done the opposite.
There are no words that justify my anger against the Evil, Apartheid State of Israel.
I will be sharing and aiming my anger towards the US Democrats and Republicans, the UK’s Tory and now Labour Parties for actually supporting Israel and its breaking of International Laws. If it was any number of Countries around the World, ie (Russia , Iran, N Korea, China, Afghanistan etc) it would be headline news in the US’ and UK’s MSM, there would be UN resolutions voted for by all Countries to stop trading with any of them, not allowing them to compete in International Sport etc etc.
We must highlight these facts, we can attack Israel as much as we like, which we have but it isn’t getting us anywhere, it’s time to turn on the Countries that are supporting Israel and Why. It’s because they see Israel as their ME Fully Armed (inc nuclear) Military Base.
Remember how the UK and US support Saudi Arabia in its daily bombing of Yemen, why, because it is buying its weapons and missiles from them.
