Is there a red line for Israel?
JVL Introduction
This article provides plenty of evidence of how there seems to be no uncrossable red line for Israel and shows the USA tying itself in knots pretending that its supposed “ultimatum” meant something. In fact, not only has Israel not allowed the “required” number of humanitarian aid trucks into Gaza but during the 30 days the USA allowed, Israel decided to completely end co-operation with UNWRA, known to be the only agency that can distribute aid across Gaza.
Instead, we share Michael Rosen’s poem:
This is a red line.
It’s a line and it’s red.
As it’s a red line
you cannot cross it.
Do you understand?
You cannot cross the red line.
I’ll say it again:
You cannot cross the red line.
I’m watching you.
If you cross the red line
you’ll be in trouble.
I’m warning you,
remember what I said:
if you cross the red line
you’ll be in trouble.
O I see you’ve crossed the red line.
OK then.
As you were.
Carry on.
Remember:
what I say is what I mean.
And what I mean is what I say.
Carry on.
Michael Rosen

Israel ignores Biden ‘ultimatum’ over Gaza aid, but U.S. will continue sending weapons regardless
A Biden administration ultimatum that Israel increase humanitarian aid into Gaza or risk losing access to some U.S. weapons has now passed. Israel did not meet the U.S. criteria, but the administration will continue sending weapons regardless.
