We have posted before about the King and the Tutor, Michael Rosen’s lecture series on international relations, diplomacy and much more besides.
Only they’re not lectures. Provocations more like.
A creative rush late last year was followed by a lull but they’ve started flowing again.
And now some creative genius has been inspired to add performance to them too.
The usual threadbare disclaimer: any resemblances to any real-world happenings or people are purely coincidental.

Michael Rosen’s fabulous The King and the Tutor dialogues, set in a non-specific time and place, are a wonderfully terse and baggage-free vehicle for terrific and terrifying insights into contemporary politics. They are wonderful. They are so inspiring that I immediately tried to clone the format — don’t worry, I couldn’t but I can see how they could spark a kind of generative “fan fiction”. I hope they’ll be coming out soon in book-form.
