Is racism in the Labour party being swept under the carpet?
JVL Introduction
At last! An article in the mainstream media that takes Labour Party racism, confirmed once again in the Forde Report, seriously.
“There is a strange amnesty,” writes Nesrine Malik, “that is extended to the Labour party, or this Labour party, when it comes to allegations of prejudice towards people of colour and Muslims in general by the wider press – and even more so if they happen to be on the left of the spectrum.”
Labuor’s complacency sits in sharp contrast to Starmer’s commitment –abused in reality to target left-wingers – to tear antisemitism out by the roots.
But heaven forfend that anyone should refer to a hierarchy of racism…

As Labour marches forward, is racism in the party being swept under the carpet?
A strange, unsettling amnesty over allegations of prejudice seems to have been granted to Keir Starmer’s resurgent party

Note how this article uses racism instead of antisemitism here, either by the author or by the editor:
“There has even been silence in response to the claims in Al Jazeera’s Labour files, which alleged that claims of racism were weaponised, exaggerated, even fabricated, as part of the effort to purge its Corbynites.”
To say antisemitism would be to expose the hypocrisy of the Guardian.
I would guess it’s the only way that she could get past Freedland .
A journalist from the Guardian makes comment about the Labour Party………..after the character assassination of Jeremy Corbyn why is the Guardian still considered a primary source by JVL?
Re : Stephen Richards . That’s a very good point . It also unfortunately highlights how there are so few articles are written in the mainstream media generally on the Forde Report , that its surprising that Nesrine Malik’s editor actually allowed her article to be published.
We just have to take the smallest crumb of comfort from whatever source is available.
Also as expected her article wasn’t opened for comments , and if you blinked you would have missed it as it was relegated to quickly on the website.
