Society of Black Lawyers chair condemns Starmer’s interference and prejudice vs Abbott
JVL Introduction
Skwawkbox reports that more questions are being raised about Keir Starmer’s behaviour with regard to disciplinary investigations in the Labour party.
The EHRC report, which Starmer accepted uncritically and with alacrity, called for “an independent process to handle and determine antisemitism complaints”, as retired judge Peter Herbert OBE, the chair of the Society of Black Lawyers, points out.
Starmer would appear to be choosing highhandedly which of his undertaking to the EHRC he will abide by (as with so many other promises he has made) by declaring, before any investigation, that what Abbot had written was antisemitic.
Herbert hopes that common sense and the rules of natural justice will prevail, arguing that Abbott as a life-long antiracist should be presumed not to have made any deliberate attempt to undermine the seriousness of antisemitism (or indeed of any other form of racism).

The silence (and complicity) surrounding this issue is criminal and across the MSM Starmer is getting away with it. Critics are excluded – suspended or expelled, shutdown and blocked. Anti-racism is reversed in Starmer’s political world. He is an appalling, corrupt and corrupting man.
Well said Peter Herbert. But I don’t think it will make any difference.
Well quite – according to Labours current Rule Book (Clause 4D on p13):
Natural Justice does not have to apply
for “Automatic Termination of Membership”.
