Here is the story of the Labour machine’s latest bullying and undemocratic behaviour – preventing socialist activist and trade-union backed candidate Dawn McGuinness from being long-listed as a parliamentary candidate for the new seat of Bangor Aberconwy.
McGuinness is a CLP rep on Labour’s National Policy Forum and also sits on Welsh Labour’s Standing Orders Committee. She was a Senedd candidate for Labour in 2021.
The reason? Her past support for Jeremy Corbyn…

She has been barred because of being a previous supporter of Jeremy Corbyn? Anybody who DIDN’T support Jeremy Corbyn when he was leader has far more reason to be barred from standing: especially if they worked actively to undermine him (and those who did so should have been expelled…)

praise of Jeremy Corbyn after the December 19 GE.
