Tracing attacks on Gaza’s press buildings
JVL Introduction
Last week posted the first of two stories in this investigation How Israeli drone strikes are killing journalists in Gaza.
In part two the Forbidden Stories consortium complements their work in part one, looking at the deliberate destruction of press centres, places of safety for journalists in Gaza, and any livestreams which might provide evidence of war crimes being committed.
Conclusion: Israel’s destruction of press infrastructure in Gaza appears to be part of a broader strategy to stifle information coming out of the Strip.

The army carrying out the systematic destruction and killings in Gaza is supported by our official parliamentary opposition.
It seems the track record speaks for itself on the dislike of journalists who want to expose the truth of what is happening in Gaza and the whole area now and over many many years. It is shocking. I hope justice is pursued and prevails for all those lives lost, it won’t bring those brave journalists back or all the civilians, medics doctors, nurses, of course justice must prevail, all their lives matter.Excellent article, thankyou.
I think we are seeing the descent of a modern, civilized society into fascism, before our eyes. If Trump is reelected in November, then with the recent Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity behind him, the US will be next. It’s the 1930s all over again: three generations ago. Is that all it takes to forget the lessons of history?
