Hillel vs. Academic Freedom in the US

JVL Introduction
There is a sustained attack on academic freedom in American universities when Israel, antisemitism or Islamophobia are on the agenda.
This is a case study of a battle at the University of North Carolina where pro-Israel Jewish groups including Hillel, which is the centre for Jewish life on Carolina campuses, are attempting to shut down debate.
Needless to say, similar forces are at work in Britain and elsewhere.
