Aipac (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, sometimes described as the US branch of Netanyahu’s Likud party) is losing influence as Jews become increasingly apprehensive about the direction Israel is taking.
In the meantime the influence of evangelical Christians, for whom Israel is a central piece of their agenda, continues to grow alarmingly.

Evangelicals/Christian Zionists support Israeli Zionists in their (Palestinian) human rights-abusing, settler-colonial project to resettle all of ancient Zion with a majority of Jews. This, in end-of-times theology will fulfill a requirement for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Do these deluded people think that He will look favourably on them for supporting this gross abuse of Palestinians?
