It is because antisemites leant on her!
The fact that this is a straightforward lie is of no account to Weiss
The fact that those who urged her to cancel her speech at the Rabin memorial meeting did so because of Rabin’s dreadful human rights record is of no account to Weiss.
As Yakov Hirsch argues, Weiss’s main concern is not actually antisemitism at all but “to propagate a self-serving ethnocentric narrative that is generated by an extremely ethno-centric Jewish experience of the world.”
It is not good news for the American Jewish community…
