This moving article outlines just some of the atrocities carried out by the State of Israel in Gaza and notes that the actions in Lebanon in 1982 elicited similar harrowing images and similar demands by those who sought justice and peace, indeed Ms Kawaz notes that “the slogans were almost identical – No More US Weapons, Stop Israeli Genocide!”
The bewilderment and, perhaps also near despair, of hearing the condemnation and concerns expressed by many western governments that lead to no practical action against Israel even when “we thought that the public postings on social media by Zionist soldiers reveling in their lewd and brutal acts in Gaza would be enough to sway anyone with a conscience”.

Why I hate Zionism and its backers more than ever
Each new atrocity in Gaza brought forth performative and useless expressions of concern from Western leaders and most Arab regimes, often coined as a “global outcry”.

The interdependency between the interests of Zionism and its imperial backers has little to do with any conceivable Western interest. Quite the reverse. The interdependency rests on Israel’s need for money and arms and the willingness of individual Western politicians to vote to supply money and arms in return for a proportion of that money in a vicious, self-perpetuating cycle.
If each country in NATO randomly appointed a Citizens’ Assembly to consider it’s relations to the Zionist State and held a referendum on the conclusions, does anyone seriously think that a majority would even support Israel’s continuation as a state, let alone condone our existing support of Israel’s criminality?
There is a western morality worth cultivating, but it is the morality of each individual citizen, not that of our interchangeable, jobs-for-the-boys political élites.
As an non-jewish person who accesses this website to gain knowledge, as well as inderstand different jewish opinions the key points I believe all protesters and persons opposed to the Zionist
ideology are this : we are against Zionist ideology not because it’s Jewish but because it is abusing Judaism. We are against those who do not learn from history and want to divide humanity further. Within each ethicity and religion there are factions, those who desire authority, elitism and complete submission to their rule. Zionists are no different from the other religions. They must be accountable for their actions; to deny zionists their responsibility , that they are equal to the rest of us..that is in its self antisemitism.
Well said this has shamed the west and things will never be the same again western governments and establishment elites have lost the trust of their own people and these elites know huge change is coming. Do they really think they can use the same Tactics on their own people that Israel has used on the Palestinians is this just a testing ground for their own survival in control and power over the western populations?.
