Why did the EU invite a racist to address a conference on racism?

JVL Introduction

In a hard-hitting opinion piece for the EU Observer, Arthur Neslen takes the EU commission to task for inviting Israeli foreign minister Israel Katz to give a keynote speech at a recent conference on combating racism, antisemitism and xenophobia.

He spells out Katz’s record: inciting to genocide in the case of the Palestinian people, which forms part of long-running record of anti-Palestinian rhetoric and political action; and depicting Jews as a unified collective responsible for the actions of the Israeli state.

On this basis, Neslen has no problem characterising Katz as racist, antisemitic and xenophobic – why then invite him to address a conference against these things?

Because he believes the EU’s primary goal are to defend the US foreign policy status quo in the Middle East, protect Zionism as an exculpation of Holocaust guilt ( shown clearly by the the EU’s Bavarian antisemitism “czar” Katharina von Schnurbein), and to maintain trade ties with Israel.

None of this, says Neslen, makes the lives of European Jews safer, or those of Palestinians less expendable.

  • A platform to spread the false message of the IHRA.

It beggars belief, why so many are anxious to rejoin this EU. They, really, ought to take a much closer look at what’s happened to the EU over the past eight years.

I voted to Remain, by the way. I have grave doubts I would vote to rejoin, at the moment.

  • Late stage Zionism is right now off it’s head and a substantial majority of Western politicians have irreversibly tethered themselves to it’s insanity. To stay in power they need to self-gaslight 24/7. To function they need to keep their heads fully immersed in buckets of fresh doo doo. The usual smug denial and sociopathic smear tactics cannot withstand live streamed genocide. They are probably now hoping that within a few years they can plausibly claim that the images of the genocide they so reverentially support are in fact AI. Such fibs may provide a lifeline. People, albeit cheap, mediocre, disloyal nothings, will be working on the fibs. In the meantime we can watch this spreading descent into madness. All because they lack the ability or derangedly refuse to ask themselves one simple question: If we do this, what are we, to them?
