‘We will not vote for those who normalise massacres’
JVL Introduction
Protest at the ongoing slaughter in Gaza is still being sustained at an extraordinarily high level throughout the UK, particularly on the national marches for Palestine.
Saturday 8th June was the 15th such march, reported on here by Elizabeth Short in the Morning Star.
Ben Jamal, on behalf of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, called for political leaders to be told that we will not vote for those who “normalise massacres”, greenlight genocide” or “collaborate with systems of apartheid”.
Marilyn Garson from Alternative Jewish Voices in New Zealand, in London for the International Jewish Collective for Justice in Palestine (IJCJP) congress, described the protest as “an endless, friendly, connected stream of people of approval and purpose”, while JVL’s Jenny Mason said the march showed an “extraordinary camaraderie between all communities.”
The Jewish Bloc was there as usual in solidarity and strong voice.

Craig (Murray) posted a copy of his current campaign leaflet on his website yesterday, with endorsements from Amaar Hijazi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Palestine, Stella Assange, Chris Hedges, Peter Oborne, Lowkey and Roger Waters (and George Galloway of course!):

Fingers crossed!
It is heartening to see the Nationwide support for Palestine and against Genocide is so strong, when the two largest political parties are so irresponsible in providing military support for Israel and apparently choose to look the other way when any Zionist violence takes place.
On the other hand the action of throwing paint over the Barcley’s Bank buildings is not just criminal damage, in my view it is self destructive.
The choice of government after July 4th is Starmer Labour or Farage/Braverman National Front. Which of these is more likely to do something about Palestine once they are in power? That’s your choice. You either vote to get rid of the Tories by getting Labour elected or you get neo-fascism. There is no other choice.
The Tories are trying hard to stoke disappointment and disgust at Starmer’s failures so lefties don’t vote. They hope a low turn out will save them. Your choice. Let the neo -fascists in, maybe for ever, or another disappointing Labour.
