Offer real change, Corbyn tells Labour

JVL Introduction

Perspectives on the General Election (10)

With the publication of the Labour Party general election manifesto imminent, former leader Jeremy Corbyn urges that it should come out strongly in favour of real change.

Corbyn recalls Labour’s 2017 and 2019 manifestos, both of which offered the kind of change people are so desperately yearning for – and on which the present leader had stood without demur.

  • This ia paralelled – not exactly, but in a general way – with what is happening to the Republican Party in the USA: right-wing ideologues redefining a political party’s role to suit their own interests, knowing that there is a strong chance that enough voters will see them back into power because those voters don’t understand how they are being spoonfed with lies and fake allegations. These are frightening times. Thank you Jeremy Corbyn, for refusing to take the crap thown at you lying down.

  • I know the Morning Star does publish some interesting articles but I would urge you to use them rarely. I was quite shocked by an appalling transphobic rant in the paper recently. Sadly in line with a Stalinist tradition it does this kind of thing.

  • The Labour Party has itself made a real change. It has changed for the worse.

  • Starmer is a Liar, a Fraud, a Dictator and a Traitor to Socialism and the People. The evidence is totally overwhelming.
He used 10 Corbyn Policies as his 10 Pledges to become leader and has dropped everyone of them.
As JVL has said before, he has suspended and expelled untold numbers of Left/Corbyn supporters the majority for spurious reasons, including Jewish members for antisemitism, if we had an unbiased MSM, including the BBC, he wouldn’t have got away with Lying and breaking his 10 Pledges, so why do they cover for him, it’s because little is going to change politically for the middle and upper classes.
