UK government refuses to call it genocide!

JVL Introduction

The UK government seems to know better than human rights organisations throughout the world and The Genocide Scholars Association  who all say that Israel’s “war” on Gaza is genocide. A few days after the Genocide Scholars made that clear, one of the last things David Lammy did while still Foreign Secretary was to declare that while “The high civilian casualties, including women and children, and the extensive destruction in Gaza, are utterly appalling” and that “Israel must do much more to prevent and alleviate the suffering that this conflict is causing.” – he does not accept it is genocide and does not even call on Israel to stop killing people and destroying Gaza.

He also does  not refer to the fact that even while waiting for the ICJ decision on South Africa’s case lodged in January 2024, all governments have a duty to prevent genocide.  Meanwhile arms are sold and Israel’s President is allowed to visit the UK.  The Guardian report on this decision and its consequences is also worth reading.

UK finds Israel's conduct in Gaza war 'appalling' but not genocide

Deputy PM David Lammy tells MPs legal threshold for war crime not reached

  • This government is under the control of the Israeli lobby. The partial ban of arms licenses a year ago ( 30 licenses out of a total of 350) was tempered by assurances by Starmer that it was a legal decision and the UK was still completely committed to supporting Israel’s right to defend itself. This denial of genocide is consistent with the unquestionable support the UK continues to give to the Israeli regime. Lammy is in the pocket of Israeli interests along with other cabinet members, particularly Starmer. Genocide deniers!!

  • By this focus on the technicalities of genocide the UK government manages not to act with any seriousness on the multiple war crimes that cannot be disputed.

  • What we learnt from the Gaza Tribunal is that once you say the word Genocide, then you become complicit if you do not try to stop the Genocide, this means that you know you are breaking international law, this government will just not accept the truth, but this will not release them form any actions the ICJ decide to take.

  • The UK Government are are in breach of the Genocide Convention that they signed up to, which was written to prevent anything like what happened in WW2 happening again; where Six Million Innocent Jewish Men Women and Children along with other innocent men women and children from other ethnic backgrounds including Gay and Disabled People, were all brutally Murdered by the Nazis in death camps such as Auschwitz and other death camps, that we know as the Holocaust. When the Genocide Convention was set up on the 9th December 1948 and Completed on the 5th of January 1951 It included the Definitions of Genocide as well as the the Definitions of Participating in Genocide.
The obligations of members who are signed up to the Genocide Convention include that if a Genocide is taking place it’s your duty to stop that Genocide as well as preventing any weapons being delivered to where that Genocide is taking place And also to arrest anyone you know is involved in Genocide Because no one is immune when it comes to Genocide Not even sovereign Leaders of Countries PMs or any one else of importance are immune from the crime of committing Genocide or Participating in a Genocide, with no exceptions. So the UK Government by breeching the obligations of the Genocide Convention while refusing to recognise a Genocide is taking place Could be seen as being guilty of Participating in Genocide .And could be reported to the convention by anyone who thinks they are guilty .Which could result in arrest of seniors people in Government.

  • Genocide? What Genocide? The UK elite, State and politicians are clearly not just in bed with the Zionist entity, but joined at the hip. Matt Kennard reported on Twitter yesterday [Tuesday] that a British “Voyager” aircraft had been circling Doha for over a week, before the “Israeli” bombing of another sovereign state. The UK has been pivotal in providing logistical support, intelligence, weapons supplies and man-power, including using RAF [?] Akrotiri, throughout the Genocide.

It is so embedded in the British State that anything which challenges “Israel” is out of the question. Starmer has never given an answer to straight questions about the slaughter, torture, rape of illegally-held internees, and forced displacement of the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. He can’t and won’t call out the “genocide”.

With the visit of War Criminal, Herzog to Downing Street over the coming days, at the behest of Starmer, his cards are clearly on the table for all to see. His hand-shake with Genocide perpetrator Herzog shows which side he is on.

He and his cabal are an intrinsic part of the existence of the Zionist entity. They have no interest in severing ties with the murderous state. Genocide? What Genocide?

  • The power of money & corruptible people with no moral compass or Humanity if the price is Right. Its devastating to realise the 2 most evil PMs in UK History have been Labour politicians.. Blair & Starmer make Tories look negligible in the Evil stakes. Though it must be pointed out that Both Are Right Wing self serving traitorous lying tools of the British Establishment who posed as LW to get votes.. I’m proud to say that NEITHER fooled me.. But what does that say about the intelligence of the British voting public.. Most stayed away at the last election but Starmer still “won” on less votes than Corbyn’s “Abysmal Historical” ( MSM HEADLINES) LOSS.. So maybe there is hope for the future because not everyone is as stupid as the Establishment think we are.

  • If that’s Lammy’s attitude, he deserves all the attention the ICC can lavish on him. Perhaps he said it on pain of loss of pension!

  • I think there is a danger of over-complicating something that is straightforward. Which is that the UK is wholly subservient to Washington DC and therefore never a truly sovereign state. The particular personnel in power at any particular historical juncture is fairly coincidental. Others, such as Cameron and Johnson, to name just two out of a long line, wouldn’t have performed any differently. Was Wilson the last to speak back to the masters?
