These are the fans Starmer and Miliband can’t wait to welcome!
JVL Introduction
Suddenly the Labour government has found a calling. it is to defend the rights of football thugs to stalk the streets of Birmingham when Maccabi is scheduled to play Aston Villa on 6th November.
In an interview with Trevor Phillips on Sky News, Ed Miliband rushed to put his oar in as well, defending the rights of football hooligans to have their way.
“We cannot have a situation where any area is a no-go area for people of a particular religion or from a particular country, and we’ve got to stamp out all forms of prejudice, antisemitism, Islamophobia, wherever we find them” he pontificated.
This is hard on the heels of Starmer’s dishonest, kneejerk response to the decision to ban Macabi fans with their record of marauding hooliganism: “We will not tolerate antisemitism on our streets.”
You really do wonder what Starmer and Miliband would have done about Moseley’s march at Cable Street had they been in charge at the time!
To repeat, yet again. It has nothing to do with antisemitism and everything to do with public safety, based on Maccabi’s egregious record for violence and thuggery at football games, at home and aboard. The article posted here reports on their latest outrage.
It is beyond time that Israeli teams were banned from international football.

So even after Maccabi’s last game was abandoned due to violence on the pitch the pretence continues that it is danger to Maccabi fans that has resulted in their management is refusing tickets for the Villa match. This being the slant of ITV’s News at Ten report 20 Oct.
