Thanks for an enlightening and helpful review of HRF’s progress.
I’m hoping HRF will soon make significant breakthroughs thanks to tracking down the identities and criminal responsibilities of Israelis complicit in the attacks on the Freedom Flotillas. The citizens of at least 45 nations were attacked. Individual victims include MPs, former Mayors etc with the clout and contacts to keep pushing for prosecutions. Some national police forces and courts are already considering what’s achievable.
Courts that have tried naval commandos for “piracy” must surely accept the same principles apply if the defendants happen to be soldiers charged with war crimes.
