The genocide in Gaza is far from over
JVL Introduction
It cannot be said often enough: the genocide in Gaza continues despite the ceasefire.
The world’s great powers may have switched off with a sigh of relief, but all that has changed is the pace of the killing.
As genocide scholar Raz Segal makes clear, the war in Gaza has not ended, because it was never a war in Gaza. It was a “Gaza Nakba”, part of the ongoing nakba against the Palestinian people. A contemporary crusade.
“Most people know that day is not night, and they refuse to say otherwise,” affirms Segal. “And many, many people around the world have taken to the streets, risking arrest, violence, losing their jobs, facing stigmatization as antisemites, drifting apart from family members and close friends – yet they have showed up, and they continue to show up, because the struggle continues, for Gaza, for Palestine, for their lives, for our world. Be there.”

What can we do to stop this?
The Nazis made sure that everything they did was legal. Their paperwork was immaculate that is why we know what they did and were able to recover so much of the stolen artwork, and the history of their destructive actions against the Jews. Now I ask you to consider. Who has made it not only acceptable but lawful to destroy Palestinian homes and businesses long before October 7th. Who has illegally(according to international Law) invaded The West Bank and subdivided it into Jewish and Palestinian areas? Who has turned a 26 mile strip of land into a concentration camp called Gaza and only allowed its inhabitants to exit and enter at the whim of its armed personnel?
