Rally for strong members’ voices on Labour NEC!
In this year’s elections to the Labour NEC (National Executive Committee), members will be looking for candidates to represent their interests at a time of unprecedented threat to democracy in the party and in the country.
Jewish Voice for Labour is one of nine campaign groups within the party supporting the Grassroots Five – three current left NEC members plus Jess Barnard from Young Labour and JVL’s Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi.
Join us at the online rally on May 16 and help build a unified campaign to make sure we have representatives on the NEC who will fight for determined opposition to the Tories, for transformative policies at home and abroad and for an end to proscriptions, exclusions and other antidemocratic actions by the leadership.
Soon after the local council elections are over, campaigning will begin in earnest for representation on the Labour NEC. On May 16 there will be an online rally called by the Campaign for Labour Party Democracy in support of the Grassroots Five candidates in this year’s NEC elections. JVL’s Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi will be among the speakers – further details to be announced in due course.

How disappointing not to see Momentum’s name on the list of supporting organisations.
They will have my full support. Let’s do our best to get them all elected.
