Killing the land to end Palestinian presence
JVL Introduction
The Refusers Solidarity Network is a small but important group of people refusing to fight for Israel is also engaged in solidarity work with Palestinians. Here is a description of time spent in Masafer Yatta supporting olive growers. They note that “Refusing the war also means refusing ecocide in all its forms: across Israel-Palestine, the military is determined to push people off of their land by destroying the land itself. ,,,researchers are *also Ed) framing Israel’s assault on Gaza as ecocide. The soil in today’s Gaza is contaminated, while half of the Strip’s farmland and tree cover has been decimated by some estimates.”
The ethnic cleansing in the West Bank is going ahead apace with the evacuation of 40,000 from refugee camps in the north of the West Bank but this ongoing destruction of olive groves, denying or dramatically limiting access to their land has been going on for decades.

I would add the deliberate poisoning of the river which runs through the Gaza strip, by settlers dumping sewage and dead animals . The genocidal intention is quite open.
