For those who have followed the pulverisation of Gaza and its people, you may have thought you were beyond shock even while sadness and anger were very present, yet another horror is placed before us. This Al Jazeera investigation has found that people have been vaporised with new weaponry and that this may have affected nearly 3,000 people, who, were subject to burning at 3,500 degrees centigrade.
This is a horrifying development with countries other than Israel also implicated, not least through supplying arms and enabling Israel’s bombing to continue. At least one of these bombs was dropped as far back as September 2024 on Al Mawasi, an area Israel had designated as a “safe zone” and to where many displaced Palestinians were forced to flee.
