JVL Introduction
The Metropolitan Police have made fools of themselves, arresting four people and confiscating a banner, depicting a dove carrying a key flying through a breach in Israel’s apartheid wall.
Why? It allegedly supported the proscribed Hamas because it “depicted a clear blue sky with no clouds, and on October 7 there was clear blue sky with no clouds”!

‘Biased’ Met Police arrest protesters for holding image of ‘clear blue sky’

As I have argued previously, there are two sides to everything: viz. an informed side and an uninformed side. Ignorance plays a big part in these events.
For example, back in November, Dr. Ranjeet Brar described his arrest at one of the London marches for selling a pamphlet containing critical analysis of Zionism. In his detailed account of his experiences during that weekend, Dr. Brar stressed that the police demonstrated no malice towards him, but, nonetheless, displayed total ignorance of all aspects of the relevant events, both historical and contemporaneous. As an obviously intelligent, articulate and, most importantly, confident professional person, he was able to introduce his captors and interlocutors to some measure of clearly evidenced truth.
I laughed out loud at this….to start with, how horrendous and what twisted logic.
I need say no more.
