Israel’s genocide in Palestine and the complicity of powerful Western states is undermining international human rights and the UN system. In July 2025, the United States imposed unprecedented sanctions on Albanese for performing her duties, citing “illegal and malicious lawfare” against Israel and US interests, a move that flagrantly violates the diplomatic immunity of UN officials. This book highlights the fact that powerful Western states are complicit in this genocide by shielding and supporting Israel, simultaneously failing to support the right of Palestinians to live in freedom and with dignity.

Francesca Albanese should receive the Nobel Peace prize for her undiminished determination to define very clearly the horrific genocide and the role of the West in participating in it by arming Israel unashamedly and refusing teven acknowledge it. She laid the benchmark of how to define a genocide under the international law and the groundwork for achieving a ceasefire and the solution to end the genocide and the achievement of a just and lasting peace.
