We will spend our lives rebuilding Gaza’s heritage sites:

JVL Introduction

This article was published the day before Israel most savagely broke the ceasefire agreement with Hamas.  Nonetheless, this determination to rebuild, as Gazans have had to do so many times before, is unlikely to be quelled. The level of destruction is horrendous and includes some very ancient buildings, including Mosques and Churches.

This commitment to stay and rebuild, to reconstruct and preserve the fascinating heritage of the Gaza Strip is astonishing.  Do check the link to the original article for photos that, for copyright reasons, we are unable to publish.
