We know the truth without Western journalists in Gaza

Of course Western journalists should be allowed into Gaza.

But brave Gazan journalists have been bringing us the truth for a very long time and at a hideous cost, with a death toll of 233 at the latest count. They have been murdered by the Israeli occupation forces, often knowingly and wilfully assassinated.

As a former war correspondent herself, Victoria Brittain makes it abundantly clear that foreign journalists always depend on reporters on the ground to be able to make sense of the conflicts they are reporting on.
