Israel murdered Anas al-Sharif claiming he was “Khamas” (of course)

JVL Introduction

The murder of Anas al-Sharif has been covered by western media as it may have seemed a step too far even for Israel.  Here is more on how the targeting/labelling of journalists happens.  Western journalists are beginning to protest the murder of so many of their colleagues.  There is increasingly voiced objection to Israel’s refusal to allow foreign journalists into Gaza and a seeming desire to know the truth  but Israel is murdering journalists at an unprecedented and astronomical level: 40 Palestinian journalists have been killed for every 100 days since October 7th 2023.  This compares with the next highest figure of just over 2 journalists killed per hundred days in for World Wars 1 and 2 and Korea. (see Trying to kill the Truth – Urban ramblings)

There is no subtlety, no  nuance to the killings “justified” because “they are all Hamas”.  “Collateral damage” will be investigated and then quietly forgotten about.  There is no evidence of Al-Sharif’s involvement with Hamas and, indeed, he is one of many who has been critical of Hamas so why was he a target?  This writer, like many others, believe that he was targeted just before Israel plans to “evacuate” all the people from Gaza City and move them south to concentration camps. Whatever the reason, it has been clear from the start that Israel is opposed to people knowing the truth but we do know, we all know. Israeli journalists know and some are also protesting the murder of their colleagues.
