Nine months on, the attack on freedom of speech on Palestine continues as Pappé chronicles here: academics and activists critical of Israel being disinvited by the bucketload, widespread censorship on social media, brutal police action against pro-Palestinian protests and encampments. and even an “anti-Semitism Awareness Act” before Congress in the US to remove any criticism of Israel from the categories protected by the First Amendment.
This is not just a challenge or a setback; it is also a sign of the failure of the Lobby to suppress ever-mounting dissent, an incentive for us to continue speaking truth to power.

- The sight of the children buried under the rubble, salvaged by older children, is enough for me and, I am sure, for anyone who was ever silenced by the lobby, not to cave in but to overcome any hurdles they put in our way of speaking truth to power.
