The ICJ ruling has started the clock on Israel’s future, in the view of internationally renowned expert Jeffrey D. Sachs.
Every murder, every hospital bombed, every allegation of torture, every food aid truck impeded will be noted and reported to the ICJ.
Israel stands set to be declared as genocidaire in the ICJ’s final ruling, Israel will become a pariah state. Young Americans, including large number of American Jews, already view it this way.
Sachs’s conclusion is stark:
Palestine will survive the current horrific ordeal, deeply wounded but with strong worldwide backing. Israel’s future, by contrast, hangs in the balance, as it could soon find itself banished by the community of nations as a stark violator of international law. Israel urgently requires leaders who embrace international law over military force, humility over arrogance, and peacemaking over brutality. And Israel—no less than the United States—must come to understand the self-destructive futility of deploying military force to deny justice and political rights for the Palestinian people.

The horror is if the Messianic fundamentalists say never again Masada or 1940s Europe and turn to an updated Samson, aka Shimshon (Option).

Sachs is kind to the despotic rulers of the Arab nations. They were well down the road of taking the US shilling (dollar?) and acconmodating Israel, despite the never-ending ethnic cleansing of Palestine. It was only the fear of their masses and the danger of another Arab spring which forxed them to joun the voices of condemnation.

I too have been angered at their seeming compliance until I thought about it.. Yemen while brave have nothing more to lose so have retaliated in response to Gaza but also to Israel bombing them..
Will this episode of mass Genocide be over before the ICJ’s final decision if it’s likely to be in a year or two’s time. Gaza is virtually inhabitable now, apart fro the complete destruction, all the Services will be destroyed, ie Water, Power and Sewerage. Its main ai has been to Ethnically Cleanse Gaza, I’ve read that there are 1.4 million Palestinians in Egypt’s Rafah and Netanyahu has said they are going to attack it, he’s determined that they will not return. The US have supported this Ethnic Cleansing of Gaza, they are making anti Israel comments now that Gaza is basically inhabitable, it won’t be that long before they will be extracting Gas from under Gaza. I would be seriously happy to see Israeli leaders in Court at The Hague charged with Genocide but I fear that it will never happen, I hope I’m wrong. PS we are hearing nothing about what is going on in the West Bank, apart from on Social Media, the beatings and murders etc. this is a recent event that appeared on Facebook.
