The Buffalo shooter’s manifesto – antisemitic to the core

Peter Beinart puts it simply and clearly:

“The great divide in global politics today is between people who believe their nations should aspire to equal citizenship, irrespective of inherited characteristics like race, religion, ethnicity and sex, and people who believe their nations should enforce the supremacy of a dominant group.”

The hysteria whipped up by so many political leaders on the right feeds the fantasies of those prepared to resort to armed attacks and mass murder of their fellow citizens, as witnessed in the Buffalo shooting.

The alleged assassin Payton Gendron had posted a 180-page manifesto saying he was driven to kill by the ‘great replacement theory’, a plot by a cabal of élites to eradicate the white race.

And even when not stated explicitly, it is “the Jews” who are behind it all…
