A populism that poses the “good” people against the “bad” elites, an antisemitic narrative of cabals, has become the ideological linchpin of white supremacy.
The rot, Burley argues, has gone to the core of the republican Party.

The hate has been refreshed, replacing ‘Elders of Zion’ with ‘globalists,’ blood libel with QAnon, deicide with ‘white genocide.’ An old-new conspiratorial antisemitism is now embedded within the Republican Party, its candidates and voters.

The Pittsburgh synagogue massacre in 2018 is also a prime example of how the far right pose a direct threat to Jews and can be motivated by the mainstreaming of fake conspiracy, in this case concerning non-white immigration.
I would caution though about seeing Jews through history as purely as the oppressed – although this is what got Jackie Walker into trouble with her ‘chief financiers of the slave trade’ remark.
A balanced view from history would probably find that Jewish people played a proportionate role in most things. The Rothschilds for example have apologised for their role in slavery.
