internal Meta data obtained by Drop Site News reveals that Meta has been complicit in a sweeping censorship campaign orchestrated by the Israeli government since October 7, 2023, removing or suppressing tens of millions of Facebook and Instagram posts critical of Israel or supportive of Palestinians. Internal Meta data shows that the company complied with 94% of Israeli takedown requests—most lacking specific content justifications—primarily targeting users in Arab and Muslim-majority countries, with only 1.3% aimed at Israeli users. Meta’s moderation system, influenced by executives with ties to the Israeli government, prioritised these requests, feeding them into its AI to shape future enforcement. Human Rights Watch and whistleblowers confirm that peaceful pro-Palestinian content was frequently and unjustly removed, making this one of the largest coordinated censorship efforts in modern digital history.

Can I get this straight? A state is finding a way of imposing one of its domestic laws on the citizens of other independent states who would normally be subject only to the laws of those states? Is there any precedent for this? Those who are complying with Israel’s completely unwarranted and unjust demands are like blind slaves feeding an insatiable monster with human flesh.
Senator Hiram Johnson is oft quoted as saying: “When war comes, the first casualty is truth”. Israel, since its creation, has become an expert at war-propaganda and perpetuators of lies and decption. Its reach around the world, through its hi-tech industry, has given it and its genocide-enabling collaborators, power to shut down opponents and silence dissent. Is it any wonder that Microsoft, META and other Western-Based media organisations have become the hi-tech hammer on Palestinian voices? The media, such as the BBC, have become an integral part of this censorship, and have repeated atrocity-propaganda, used to justify deplatforming, demonetising and “shadow-banning” of Palestinian voices. Chomsky spoke of “Manufacturing Consent” as a pretext for terror and war. The problem for the pro-genociders is that social media has already shown the world the atrocities, torture, murder, maiming and attempted extermination of Palestine and its people. Daily we see the depraved brutality of the occupation on our iphones. The truth is already out of the bottle, and Western Media platforms are fighting a rearguard battle to defend the US-backed murderers. We will not be silenced, no matter what they do.
The actual removal of Posts is an obvious example of the strength of Israel’s influence on Social Media and my first experience of this was to be excluded completely from FB and with no answers to any request for information as to why this had occurred. This followed the meeting between Netanyahu and Zuckerberg where the former explained that the latter wasn’t doing ‘his bit’ for the Zionist cause.
The only information I received was from relatives who wished to know what ‘obscene or offensive’ material I had published. At least two years later I was again able to gain access to FB. However, all people who have associations with the ‘wrong type of Jewish Associations’ or simply advocated support for the Palestinian cause knew that their Posts were being severely limited in their distribution and that in many cases the only way to see other people’s Posts was to visit their FB page.
This allows FB to apparently maintain an open appearance regarding the appalling situation concerned with the Zionist Genocide but in fact severely limit the sharing of such information.
Any Post showing the events in any form of graphic detail would be restricted by hiding the images which showed the totality of the depths to which the Zionists are prepared to go when breaching the International Laws and the UN Charter of Human Rights whilst maintaining that this is justified by the events of Oct. 7th 2023.
The only thing we can do is to continue to Post and repost, sharing essential information as widely and as frequently as possible.
