Sign of a shift…former Diplomats speak out for Palestine
JVL Introduction
A large number of former British diplomats have written to express their opposition to what is happening in Israel and calling on the British government to do more, such as apply sanctions. This post on the British Palestine Project (formerly the Balfour Project) also includes the article to which the letter is a response.
They believe that the current Israeli leadership are determined to ” break Palestine forever” and that with elections on the horizon settler expansion, forced displacement and settler violence, often sponsored by the State and the moves towards West Bank annexation are being accelerated. They remind us that the genocide is not over but has disappeared from the Western media.
They recognise that they are ‘merely’ pouring water on a stone and urge us to “(P)lease keep pouring!” for excample, by forwarding this to our own MPs.

I can only hope that our government will finally take some notice of the strength of feeling against Israel as it is now, where IDF war crimes and settler murders go unpunished and the idea that Palestinians will somehow disappear seems to be general. Their tacit condoning of numberless crimes has been appalling.
I will not knowingly buy anything from Israel. The country is a terrorist entity. the settlements in the West bank are all illegal in international law. Netanyahu said he would annex the West Bank over two years ago and no one outside Israel to a bit of notice. The Terrorist Settleristas are government funded through shady avenues and managed by Daniella Weiss, who is the equal of any Nazi female in my book. Britain and its government disgust me. If I could leave I would.
